About
DJ & producer · Lincoln · UK-wideEight-Thirty-Nine is a DJ and producer based in Lincoln, playing regularly across Lincolnshire, Newark and Nottinghamshire, and Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and available for hire throughout the United Kingdom and worldwide. Specialising in deep, melodic, progressive house and euphoric electronica.
Events
Wine bars and restaurants, weddings, brand promotions, business launch events and open air music events. Every set is programmed for the occasion and the space: a long, patient build for your bar; something brighter for a launch; a wedding shaped around the people in the room. Large or small, the approach is the same, whether the room is in Lincoln, Newark, Sheffield or further afield.
The Music
Deep, melodic and progressive house, drawn from labels such as Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Monstercat Silk, Marshan Records, Colorize and Melody of the Soul, alongside original productions and remixes. This is not high tempo hardcore club DJing, our emphasis is on melody, atmosphere, a quality sound experience and the arc of an evening.

Melody of the SoulA Custom Immersive Sound System
A full sound system can be supplied where needed. What matters is quality rather than volume. Our multi speaker system is tuned to the room using digital sound processor technology with custom programming track by track, so the sound travels around the space and arrives with the same weight in every corner.
The aim is immersion, not volume. Your guest should be able to talk at the bar and still feel the music on the floor and subtle effects travelling around the space.

SpeakersWhere We Play
The home ground is the triangle between Lincoln, Newark-on-Trent and Sheffield. Most weeks that means a wedding somewhere in Lincolnshire, a wine bar in Lincoln or Newark, or a launch in Sheffield, with Nottingham, Doncaster, Grantham, Retford, Worksop, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Gainsborough, Stamford, Boston, Skegness and Mansfield all comfortably within an evening’s reach.
Beyond that core, we travel. The East Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber are regular ground, and bookings are welcome across the West Midlands, the East of England, the North West, the North East, the South East, the South West and London, as well as Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Travel and any overnight stay are quoted per event, so there are no surprises.
